Winewood Grill Sparkles in Grapevine

Brunchlust’s love for wine took us outside Dallas city limits to Grapevine for the 40th Annual Grapefest last weekend. But first…WE BRUNCH!

In keeping with the theme of wine, we decided to brunch at Winewood Grill before hitting the festival. Located on the city’s historic Main Street, it certainly did not disappoint.

We started off with bottomless poinsettias for $10. Brunchlusters, I could not have made this cocktail better myself! Perfect ratio of cranberry to sparkling wine. Kudos to their bartenders!

Not in a breakfast food mood, I opted for the cheeseburger…sans bacon. Hands down one of the best burgers I have ordered in a restaurant in a long time. The horseradish pickles? If you like pickles, you’ll LOVE them. If you don’t like pickles, you’ll LOVE them. Next time, I’m asking for extra.

And I have to mention the truffle parmesan fries. Seriously. Top five I have ever had.

Service was friendly and attentive. That’s always a plus. The restaurant was packed. And there appeared to be about a 30-45 minute wait. Definitely recommend making reservation if your time is restricted.

In addition to the modern cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, you’ll also be treated to live jazz music while you nosh on their fabulous brunch offerings and sip mimosas!

Brunchlust Rating: A. When brunching locally, I don’t always travel outside of the Dallas city limits. But I have definitely added Winewood as a Dallas area option.
