Every once in a while, we're gonna take a break out of our usual brunch features and feature a breakfast specialty shop. Usually these locations serve a more traditional breakfast and are alcohol free, but their kitschiness deserves some Brunchlust shine.
Our first feature belongs to the cute and quaint Krave Cereal Bar in Cedar Hill, TX, just 15 minutes outside of Downtown Dallas. Krave is a small neighborhood spot that features a cereal bar, smoothies, fro-yo, and pastries. They also have sandwiches around the lunch hour as well.
Also those sweet and sugary cereals from your childhood? You can find them here. From Lucky Charms to Apple Jacks, Krave has them ready for you to indulge. But, if you're feeling more adult and want something a bit healthier, they do offer cereals like Special K and Raisin Bran. They offer whole milk, 2%, almond milk, and soy milk as well.
Looking for something sweet after a meal? Check out their self serve Fro Yo bar, where you get to pile bowls with mounds of creamy frozen yogurt and top them off with candies, fruits, nuts, and syrups. Don't forget there's also freshly made smoothies with available boost supplements such as Energy, Trim & Fit, and Immune Support.
Brunchlust Rating: B The staff is friendly and there are sofa and table areas for folks who'd like to take advantage of the free WiFi or just want to catch up over bowls of sweet treats. There's even outdoor umbrella seating to use on those great Texas weather days. Perfect family friendly spot.
